About the Samurai Japan 12U National Team Players and Coaching Staff

The 15 players of the "Samurai Japan 12U National Team" (Toshihisa Nishi, coach), who will play in the "8th BFA 12U Asian Championships", held in the Philippines on August 27th, 2014 (Wed), have been decided.
In addition to the referrals of the prefectural branch from the Japan Rubber Baseball Association (JSBB), open recruitment over the Internet for young baseball players was attempted for the first time, and 6 of the 15 players were recruited from the open recruitment.
The team will assemble on August 23rd (Sat), practice at the Jingu Rubber-ball Baseball Ground until the 25th (Mon), and leave for the Philippines on the 26th (Tue).
