Regarding Drafting Professional Women's Baseball Players as Candidates for the Samurai Japan Women's National Team

Upon consultation with the Japan Women's Baseball League and inspection of the players, the Women's Baseball Federation Japan has drafted the following players as candidates for Samurai Japan's women's national team (Madonna Japan).

The following players will participate in a training camp held on the International Pacific University grounds in Akaiwa City, Okayama Prefecture, on May 10th (Sat) and 11th (Sun). (However, the four players affiliated with Astraia and Reia will only participate on May 11th (Sun).) The Okayama camp will consist of a total three training games, one game with the Chugoku-Shikoku Selection Team on the 10th (Sat), and two games with the Kansai Selection Team on the 11th (Sun).

They will build the strongest team, in order to win the fourth straight championship in the Sixth IBAF Women's Baseball World Cup, held in Miyazaki from September 1st-7th. 32 candidate players will participate in this camp, and the number of candidate players will be narrowed down to 20 by the end of the camp. (The competition has a 20 player limit)
