Samurai Japan National Team Coach Hiroki Kokubo Visits Set of TBS Drama "Roosevelt Game", Gives Baseball Coaching!

Samurai Japan National Team Coach Hiroki Kokubo has visited the set of the currently-running TBS drama "Roosevelt Game" (Sundays at 21:00).

Coach Kokubo first visited the studio. He had an interview with actor Toshiaki Karasawa, encouraging him by giving him a Samurai Japan uniform as a present.
He then visited the Aoshima Factory Baseball Team's training grounds in his Samurai Japan coach uniform.
He did fielding practice with the team members, swinging the fungo bat himself. He also passionately coached each of the team members, giving advice on their batting form.
Lastly, he played one-on-one with Asuka Kudo, who plays Kazuya Okihara, and worked out with the Aoshima Factory Baseball Team's Nine.

Coach Kokubo encouraged the Aoshima Factory Baseball Team, saying "This is a widely watched drama, so I hope you can use your days well and stick it out to the end".

Samurai Japan is supporting and collaborating with "Roosevelt Game", including an appearance of technical director Yoshitaka Katori as himself in episode 6 (airing on June 1st).
